SwanScout 708M

THis charge station for Apple does everything I need. It can charge my air pods, watch and iPhone all at the same time. This charge station even has a built in clock and charge status lights for the devices. I like that it can fold down flat too. This will make it great for out of town trips. I will be using this on my desk to keep all my devices fully charged and ready to use.

Pros:
- Great design including ability to fold flat for travel
- Charge iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time
- Front panel clock time display with touch control to turn off the display or set 3 brightness levels
- 3 buttons on the side to easily set the time (no date)
- Front display shows charging indicating for the phone, watch and airpods
- Includes USB-C 1.5m cable

Cons:
- Date not available, only time
- Time can not be set to 24 format

Pros:

- I love the cool folding design where the watch charger tucks in from the side into one rectangular shape. It makes it among the more compact and manageable 3-in-1 chargers I've used.

- It charges all 3 devices at once with no problems. I used a 20 W power brick (not included) and it worked well. I got the nice MagSafe charging ring animation on my phone.

- One of the most important features to me is the earbuds platform having a slight ridge to it, and as an added bonus 4 small rubber pads arranged in a "+" formation, both of which help keep the earbuds aligned while charging and prevent them from slipping off. Often this problem is neglected in 3-in-1 chargers but the designer of this product clearly took special care to address it.

- The built-in clock feature is a nice added bonus. It has three brightness levels and can also be turned off if you'd prefer not to see it.

Cons:

- One surprisingly significant flaw is the fact that the on/off/brightness button for the clock feature is a touch button, not a mechanical button. I hate touch buttons because they're so easy to activate accidentally, and this is no exception. I wanted the clock off but I found myself always turning it on accidentally while setting up and handling the charger. There are even nice clicky buttons on the side to adjust the time so why not have the same for the brightness??

This has the strongest magnets of any portable charger I've seen -- can hold the watch vertically so it can be seen. Nice solid-feeling product with good build quality. It's a bit bigger and heavier than other travel chargers with a similar form factor, but feels more solid and therefore may be less likely to have the hinges break. Charges quickly; the clock display and charge indicators on the front display are nice-to-haves. Note: It states this clearly in the product description, but a power adaptor is not included -- just a USB-C to USB-C cable. Some of us have tons of random adaptors lying around so this isn't an issue, but keep this in mind.

Although this SwanScout 708M is not a FAST charger for iPhones, that requires 15W minimum, it does a pretty good job of charging at 10W for the phone, 3.5W for the AirPods and 2.5W for the watch. But this 3 in 1 charger brings more to the table than just charging. First of all the design and construction is rock solid. The swivel arm for the watch charger is rugged, though a little noisy when swiveling. It can be extended to the right of the phone for display while charging or swiveled up to hide the watch behind the phone while charging, giving a slimmer profile. The rear platform for charging the AirPods is clearly marked with the center of field for where to place the AirPods case.

The charger also is collapsible for easy carrying and opens up quickly and easily for use. The base also includes a nice LCD clock which can display in either 12 Hr of 24 Hr format. One button turns on the clock display and changes the brightness level. Dedicated buttons on the side of the base allow you to easily set and changes the rtime. There’s also a rechargeable battery in the base to keep the clock time when it’s not plugged in. Just be sure to charge it up every couple of weeks or you’ll have to reset the time.

To me, this would be the absolute perfect 3 in 1 charger if it did provide FAST charging, but I’m not complaining.

Overall this is a very elegant 3 in 1 charger that is easy to give a strong recommendation to.
